Four Winds Vineyard is located at 9 Patemans Lane, Murrumbateman NSW 2582 — approximately 30 minutes from Canberra’s CBD via the Barton Highway or 15 minutes off the Hume Highway if you are coming from the north.
Yes, there is ample free on-site parking for cars and coaches.
Four Winds Vineyard is open seven days a week. 11am-4pm on weekdays & 11am-5pm on weekends and public holidays. Our kitchen is open noon-3pm weekdays & 11.30am-3.30pm weekends and public holidays.
Please note that hours may vary over the Christmas holiday period; therefore, we recommend checking our website or calling ahead.

Yes, wine tastings are available at the cellar door. We present our tastings in a tasting flight which our team will guide you through and allow you to enjoy at your own leisure. You can find the tasting flight varieties and prices in our menu.
Yes, we serve our wines by the glass at our cellar door. Ask our team for the current by-the-glass list when you visit. You may also choose to have a tasting flight or enjoy wine by the bottle.
We serve wood-fired pizzas and a selection of deli-style items that allow you to build your own platter, designed to complement our wines.

Yes, Four Winds Vineyard has gluten free pizza bases available (+$6) but these are prepared in our flour-rich kitchen and cooked in the same oven as our regular pizzas.
Please note we are not a gluten or nut-free kitchen. We are unable to guarantee food that is totally free of allergens.
We ask that guests enjoy the food available at our cellar door rather than bringing their own, so we can ensure the best possible experience for everyone.
You can bring along a cake for your celebration. We apply a cakeage fee of $2 per person. We will provide forks, plates, serviettes and a knife. If you require the cake to be refrigerated while you enjoy your lunch, please ask our team on arrival and ensure you label the box with your reservation name.
Yes, we are family friendly and welcome families to enjoy their time with us. As careful as we are to clean up any breakages, there may be glass on the ground, so we kindly ask that you wear shoes at all times. Please ensure children are supervised and mindful of other guests and for everyone’s safety, we ask that children do not play on the ramp or handrails, as these are thoroughfares for our team and other visitors.
Our outside area is pet friendly (so long as you have friendly pets). We just ask that you keep them on a leash and don’t bother other guests.

Four Winds Vineyard is a family-owned estate, founded in 1998 by the Lunney family in Murrumbateman, NSW. It continues to be run by the family today. You can read more about the history of Four Winds Vineyard here.
The Four Winds Story began with a miner and his wife who lived on the property in a slab-hut. Her name was Scheherazade, after the story telling character in The Arabian Nights. Her favourite story described a magic carpet being borne by the four winds of good fortune. She named this small farm in Murrumbateman ‘Four Winds’ in the hope it would carry their good fortunes.

If you are open to holding your event on a weekday during our usual business hours, our hayshed can accommodate groups of up to 50 guests.
Group sizes are limited to 10 people on weekends as we have a small team and want to provide everyone with great service. Inside we can seat groups of up to 6 people, while our large outdoor covered seating area can host groups of up to 10 people.
