What is a wine club?
A wine club is an extension of the experience you receive in a cellar door. A membership for customers who want to regularly receive deliveries of a winery’s products.
The Four Winds Vineyard wine club is your chance to have our wines conveniently delivered to your door. With this subscription service you choose how much, how often and which wine varieties you would like. We do the rest.
But did you know there are other benefits of joining a wine club? Below are five benefits of being a wine club member and how this can enhance your involvement with your favourite wineries.
As a wine club member, you get:
1. A behind-the-scenes look at the business you’re supporting.
Wine Club members are the first to hear exciting news, updates and sneak peeks from the winery. This creates close contact with the makers themselves who are always eager to share what has been going on in the business.
At Four Winds Vineyard we do this through a six-weekly newsletter specifically curated for our Wine Club members. This email update includes new releases, upcoming events and a letter sharing news from the vineyard and winery.
2. The first look at new-release wines.
It is exciting to release new wines and we share this news with club members first so you get the opportunity to taste and buy before they are added to the cellar door menu.
Not only that, but as a member you are the first to know when we do a special release such as; museum vintage wines, alternative blends or non-wine beverages such as gin.
3. Access to events.
Being part of a wine club is about more than wine, it is about the experience of a business. Wineries will often host events for the chance to spoil their customers and connect with you in person outside of regular cellar door visits.
Some popular winery events include dinners, blending seminars, winery tours and many other creative excuses to hang out with our number one supporters.
4. Regular deliveries at a discounted price.
Of course, regular deliveries of your favourite wines at a special wine club member price is the number one reason members sign up to wine clubs in the first place.
Here at Four Winds Vineyard, we have several additional perks that come along with the member discount. For starters, you receive 15% off all wine purchases both online and at the cellar door, this includes glasses of wine ordered in the cellar door when visiting.
As a member, you only pay for the wines you receive. No joining fees and no shipping costs. Shipping is also free on orders made outside of regularly scheduled wine club orders with no minimum order.
Regular wine club shipments are completely customisable. On sign up, you can choose the volume and frequency that suits you best. Ahead of any orders being processed, you can adjust the products you’re receiving to ensure you are only being sent your favourites or wines you are interested in trying. And if your cellar is bursting, you can opt to skip any upcoming shipments and wait until the next time around.
Memberships can be cancelled at any time if you need to take a break. You are able to pick it up again when you are ready.
5. The knowledge that you are supporting local businesses.
We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of our customers. Running a small business isn’t easy – particularly one in agriculture and we couldn’t do it without your support.
